Hello! My name is Megan Barton and I am an undergraduate
athletic training / sports medicine student at Central
Michigan University. I am conducting research about the type
and frequency of injuries that occur in competitive quad
rugby. This study will help sports medicine professionals to
understand the types of injuries that occur with quad rugby
athletes in order to improve the care of athletic injuries
sustained in competitive quad rugby.

The study will be conducted through an online survey at

The study will take a brief 5-10 minutes and the
participants will provide information about the types of
injuries they have faced while participating in quad rugby
and what type of treatment was received for the injury. The
survey will be available online until Sunday November 30,
2008.
With your permission I will contact each of the 38 national
quad rugby teams through e-mail stating the purpose of the
study and providing a link to the survey to pass on to
athletes from each team.
